Education

After discovering a passion for language, I started attending school at Santa Fe College part time, soon switching to full time. After receiving an A.A. I transferred to UF and finished my Bachelor's degree in Chinese Language and Literature. My last summer at UF I also participated in a study abroad program in Beijing, China.

Since graduating I have continued to learn Mandarin via my coworkers and various online resources and podcasts. I also received a certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) before pursuing education in software and web development.
